Daybroke @ Volver Sessions – day 1

This week we left with fully loaded cars to.. Tilburg! A while ago we were approached by Crip Theeuwes of the Volver Studio whether we wanted to record a song for his initiative, the “Volver Sessions”. For this project, Crip invites 10 acts to his studio for 2 days for the third consecutive year now. A cd will be made with the resulting 10 songs. Of course we accepted this offer, and we decided to completely re-arrange the song “Decide” (which you might already know from one of our shows, or from our acoustic session at Omroep Brabant), in order to record it at Crip’s studio. Daybroke guest at Nol & Mol (Omroep Brabant)

This morning, while the weather was beautiful, I went outside to buy myself a fresh new package of strings for my acoustic guitar. We we’re invited by Nol Havens and Hubèrt Mol to play live in their weekly radioshow “Nol & Mol” at Omroep Brabant.
After we found the huge building of Omroep Brabant at The Science Park in Son we were welcomed by the sound engineer. After a short soundcheck we were all satisfied with the sound and ready to play! Just after three o’clock it was our turn to play “Decide” after a short introduction interview. After playing the song the interview continued. They also played “Killing Time” from our upcoming album. Both Nol and Mol said this song was a hit record. Haha, we love to hear that of course!
