Back to business!

After a nice quiet summer period, it’s time for Daybroke to get started again. While the past year has brought us many wonderful things (like shows at the huge Zwarte Cross festival and as support act for Triggerfinger and Taylor Hawkins, a few nice visits to the 3FM studio and of course the release of our debut album What Nature Started), the real year of truth is here for us now!
Reviews of the album are all pretty positive, the gig calendar is expanding rapidly and the new single with amazing video is about to come out. In short, eternal fame and excessive wealth are just a matter of time!

Keep checking the website while we proceed doing the preparations, then you’ll be the first to know all Daybroke news!

Ciao!
Kasper

“What Nature Started” – the artwork

thumbs 2009 12 07 daybroke set vexy 2 What Nature Started the artworkA few days after a long day of work on our promotional photos with photographer Roald aka Set Vexy, it was time to start working on the artwork of our album. Obviously, these days have been preceded by a lot of brainstorming sessions. Soon we came to the conclusion that the artwork had to be in line with the title of the album: “What Nature Started“.

So, the elements of nature are frequently found in the artwork, as you can see in the preview a little further on. More >

Photoshoots

thumbs 2009 12 06 daybroke set vexy 1 PhotoshootsTwo weeks ago there were no less than three photoshoots on Daybroke’s agenda, two of them took place on Sunday.

Early in the morning we head for Rotterdam’s Maasvlakte, a huge industrial estate where large vast areas are still undeveloped. At least… that’s what we hope. A short visit shows plenty of new industry have been added. And apart from that, it’s raining cats and dogs! More >
