“What Nature Started” – the artwork

A few days after a long day of work on our promotional photos with photographer Roald aka Set Vexy, it was time to start working on the artwork of our album. Obviously, these days have been preceded by a lot of brainstorming sessions. Soon we came to the conclusion that the artwork had to be in line with the title of the album: “What Nature Started“.
So, the elements of nature are frequently found in the artwork, as you can see in the preview a little further on. More >
The final Popronde show

Last Friday we played our final Popronde show at Cafe the Studio in our hometown Tilburg.
Strictly monitored by the Popronde staff, we were to play our first notes at eleven o’clock sharp. But, only half an hour before the beginning it was alarmingly quiet at the Studio. And err.. wasn’t it always this quiet here until about one o’clock? More >
Very first gig Jaap @ Estrado

Joost played his very last show a week ago and yesterday evening it was my turn to take over the baton! My first show with Daybroke at Estrado in Harderwijk was about to be a fact. At arrival it was very obvious that we we were taken care of very well. Friendly people, a nice dressing room with snacks and a fridge filled with enough Red Bull and beer to fill a bathtub.
After the band Vegas For Millions left the audience in a good vibe, it was our turn to hit the stage. After several rehearsals, auditions and meetings I was about to play the gig that I was looking forward to so much. It was great to be onstage with these musicians; this will bring lots of good for the future! On to the next gig at the Effenaar in Eindhoven!
